The Society´s publication North East History (formerly the Bulletin of the North East Labour History Society) is published yearly and covers a wide range of topics including local social and cultural history. Volume 36 is now available It includes articles on Basque children refugees on Tyneside and Cumberland, Second World War strikes on the River Tyne, Race Relations in sixties Newcastle, the 1826 seamen's strike on the Wear, Ellen Wilkinson, Whose Heritage: Bowes and Beamish plus oral history, archive reports and reviews. It costs £15 or £5 including membership of the Society.
